Objective

  • The Citrix client installation has successfully installed. Click ‘YES” to reboot your system 11. With the Citrix client software installed and the computer rebooted, you are ready! To access the Emory Healthcare Virtual Desktop environment, start Internet Explorer (not Edge) and go to https://workspace.emory.org.

But if we install Citrix Receiver 4.10 it works fine. We also tried using the Citrix Receiver Clean-up tool and then install 4.12 or workspace app but the issue is still there. Lastly, it works fine with Chrome. It opens the desktop/app on the citrix receiver. It also works by logging on to the Citrix Receiver application and clicking it from.

Instructions to collect Receiver for HTML5 client logs in Internet Explorer 11
  1. Log on to the Receiver for Web site. Press F12 key to open the developer tools windows. Select the Console tab. This the Receiver for Web tab.

  2. In another browser tab, navigate to siteurl/Clients/HTML5Client/src/ViewLog.html, where siteurlis the URL of the Receiver for Web site (Example: http://server.domain/Citrix/StoreWeb/Clients/HTML5Client/src/ViewLog.html )
    • Press F12 key to open the developer tools windows. Select the Console tab
    • This is the View Log tab. Click 'Start Logging'. Wait until 'Logging is enabled now' appears in the developer tool window.
  3. On the Receiver for Web site, access a desktop or application using Receiver for HTML5. In the developer console, the logging should be scrolling through the developer console window.

  4. ​After the application or desktop is launched, change to the View Log site and click 'Stop Logging' in the logging window. There are two ways to get the html logs.

  • From the View Log page: The log should appear in the Log Files window. Hovering over the item in the list makes a download icon appear. Clicking the icon will start a local file download. See example below.

  • From the Receiver for Web page: Switch back to the Receiver window where the application or desktop was launched. Right-click in the developer console and choose Copy All. Even though the window is not highlighted, the entire contents is in the paste buffer now. Paste the contents of the paste buffer into Notepad.
